Eight Oglethorpe student-athletes competed in the "Petrels of Fire" race Wednesday afternoon as part of the annual Oglethorpe Day celebration on the university's campus. The event featured the participants racing the Carillon bells around the quad as the clock struck high noon, trying to cross the finish line before the last bell chimed.
