Men's Cross Country Takes Second at Piedmont Invitational, Evans Wins Individual Race; Stenn Comes in 10th for WomenPublished by
The Oglethorpe cross country teams ran well at the Piedmont Invitational in Tallulah Falls, Georgia, Saturday morning. The men's team took second place at the event and freshman Nick Evans earned his first individual title, finishing in 28 minutes, 39.8 seconds on the 8-kilometer course and coming in around 30 seconds ahead of his nearest competitor. The women's team had three runners, all of them finishing in the top 40, as freshman Hava Stenn led the squad with a 10th place finish on the 6-kilometer course in 25 minutes, 46.4 seconds.
